CHAPTER 8 · BOTH EDITIONS
Save and reuse your voice guide
A voice guide helps an assistant draft in language you recognize. It should preserve your judgment, facts, and boundaries as well as your tone.
Put it to work
- Collect three short examples you wrote and like. Remove other people's private information.
- Create a guide with tone, reader, preferred words, avoided words, supported beliefs, and facts that must not be invented.
- Save it as a text file. Paste it into a new conversation with your task, or use your assistant's supported saved-instructions feature. Test with one short draft.
